8th PIMS-MITACS Industrial Problem Solving Workshop May 17-21, 2004 PIMS-UBC, Vancouver, BC, Canada

The Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Science (PIMS) and the Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems (MITACS) are pleased to announce the 8th PIMS-MITACS Industrial Problem Solving Workshop which will be held at PIMS at the University of British Columbia, May 17-21, 2004.

We invite graduate students and faculty to participate in this exciting and educational event. A number of graduate students will also participate in the Graduate Mathematics Modelling Camp (GIMMC) the previous week at the University of Victoria.
